de Bassan is a contemporary painter of
fun style and pop culture.
He studied drawing and graphic design at the Brassard school of
tours in the 80s.
He took his first steps in advertising and discovered
the world of art and free figuration.
From that moment on, he decided to devote himself
entirely to the creation of paintings, including series
devoted to architecture (Tourner manege in 1999),
to consumption (Café clock in 2002), to the heroes of
our childhoods (superman in 2010) as well as other
works to discover on his website.
Recognized in New York, Paris, Cannes, Nice in
private collection, he will go as far as Hong Kong to
present his work. Throughout France, he exhibits
in various events and galleries.
In 2015, Gil de Bassan left his studio and became
Streets artist following meetings with young
artists from New York and Toulouse. He launches the Rose
Trotter Tour.
7 years later, seduced by Marie Galante, Gil de Bassan relaunches a collection
thematically on the Island while continuing to sow Roses.
