After initial training in sciences, I began to study science. à began photographing walls in 1997, when I joined the the faculty from Toulouse Le Mirail in Applied Arts: the richness of surfaces, lines, shapes, reliefs, colors in interaction... and all these written words. Spontaneous compositions, resulting from all this, me « were obvious »; traces of human action, of passing time. Walls and ruins always fascinate me. They are a paradox. They shout or whisper. They expose where protect. They imbue themselves with life and feelings. The wall is not only a mute component of architecture: The "wall material" testifies since the dawn of time.
My pictorial practice began in the street but from the street to; the web, there is only one step! One practice nourishing the other, my paintings are inspired by walls, people, feelings and the passing of time. Nature remains a recurring theme. It is also work on memory. I use a mixed technique, mixing acrylic paint, spray paint, inks... Sometimes I integrate cyanotypes and gold leaf. Personalized portraits are also possible.
