In my artistic approach, I explore black monochrome with a particular intensity. Each brushstroke is guided by my emotion of the moment, by the music that resonates within me while I paint. It is as if each note, each rhythm, is translated into movement on the canvas, creating a unique visual symphony.

The play of movements with light is essential in my work. I am constantly looking for the effect of contrast, the way in which light reflects and diffuses on the black surface, creating nuances and reflections that give an unexpected depth to my works. It is a subtle dialogue between shadow and light, between matter and brilliance.

My inspirations are vast, but I always come back to the infinity and depth of black. The monolith of 2001: A Space Odyssey embodies in my eyes this power and this mysterious beauty of absolute black. And how can we not mention the impact of the work of Pierre Soulages, who was able to explore and magnify black in an unequaled way.

Each painting I create is a reflection of my deepest emotions. It is an exploration of myself through the color black, a quest to reveal hidden nuances, unsuspected reflections. Each canvas is imbued with my sensitivity, my thoughts and my feelings of the moment, captured by more or less intense movements.
