Basically self-taught painter. Graduate in History from the Complutense University of Madrid.

In 1982 he worked with the painter Antonio López de los Mozos, a friend and teacher who would influence his work. decisively in his work.

Recipient of a scholarship from the Cultural Foundation of La Mancha, he participated in the III Almagro Art Course (1983), where he trained with the painters Antonio López and Manuel Villaseñor.

In 1990 he joined the Spanish Archaeological Mission in Mexico as a draftsman and graphic designer.

In 1992 he moved to Milan to study graphic design. He traveled throughout Italy, and worked for several years on the island of Sicily.

Since 1994 he has been part of the Spanish Archaeological Mission in Egypt, where he works as a draftsman and archaeologist.

Since 2009 he has been part of the Tuthmosis III Funerary Temple Project, in Luxor (Egypt), where he works as a draftsman and archaeologist.

Since 2017 he has been part of the Taposiris Magna Project, in Alexandria (Egypt), where he works as a draftsman and archaeologist.

Currently, his work as an artist focuses mainly on the study of the nude and the Mediterranean landscape, treated with different techniques: oil painting, collage, woodcut, mainly.
