Born and went to school in Germany.
In 2010 I successfully completed my fashion design bachelor's degree at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences.
In 2023 I completed a dual retraining course to become a ceramicist in northern Germany.
Since then I have been passionate about making ceramic products. I worked for various pottery companies abroad for a year and am now setting up a small ceramics workshop back in Germany. My vision includes the sustainable, environmentally conscious production of ceramics. I recycle all leftovers and reuse them. I reduce water consumption to a minimum by letting the used buckets settle overnight and reusing the water that has collected at the top. I care about the origin and extraction of raw materials/minerals. I try to avoid critical raw materials. In the long term, I am trying to switch to the single-firing process in order to reduce my carbon footprint even further. Until then, I do not fire any higher than necessary, currently up to 1210°C. However, depending on the glaze, this can sometimes vary...
