Discover the contemporary work of Hélène TOURBINE

As a freelance photographer, I live in Finistère and work mainly in Brittany, Iceland, and Italy, after having traveled through the Ile-de-France region and the southern tip of Greenland.
Along the North Atlantic, my favorite lands are those of rock, fire, and ice. I like to wander in search of a twig hidden between two rocks, a shade of color within a seemingly monolithic mountain, crossing paths with a crow or a puffin, and bringing back a little magic. For several years, I have also been working on a project capturing the portraits, gestures, fragments, and movements of the dynamic Icelandic music scene.
In Italy, mainly in the Veneto region, I seek out daily life made invisible by mass tourism.
