Julian, I was born when the Leica M6 had just celebrated its 5th birthday. My first camera was a disposable one that I got on September 1, 1994. I quickly felt that photography would become my passion. A passion for creating images that tell unique stories. Taking photos for me is a way of seeing the world, understanding it and sharing it. Each shot is an artistic expression, a window open to one's inner world.

Photography in general is much more than a simple hobby. Photography plays a central role in the perception of the world around me. À through my photographs, I seek to transmit emotions, to provoke reflection. It’s a universal language that allows me to come into contact with people in the street. The finesse, precision and discretion of my Leica allow me to get as close as possible to people without ever seeming oppressive. Knowing how to capture the right moment without ever spoiling the spontaneity of your experience. of the moment.

The world that surrounds us offers us a multitude of frames, reflections, backlights and contrasts. I love stopping and waiting for time to pass, there is always a photo that will jump out at us with this idea of saying "Yes of course, the photo is there."
