It was during my long stays in the Orient and Asia that color became an essential element of my painting.
Their meanings, which carry very different meanings and symbols depending on the countries, cultures and times, fascinated me and allowed me to provide a vast field of action superimposing symbolism and emotions.
Very quickly, I became passionate about mixed media. I create my own papers to include them in my multi-technique paintings. In the Far East “Paper captures then releases the imagination” Inspired by this principle, I feed my creation with materials and colors, thus creating another reading of reality, using

 space and atmosphere to suggest an atmosphere close to the figurative.
