I live near Arles in Provence and I am self-taught in everything I do, masonry work, tennis, music and of course painting. Concerning the painting, that’s already been the case. I've been at it for 20 years.
Artistic approach
I only paint outdoors. oil. My main inspirations come from what I like, like chiaroscuro, Caravaggio, De Latour,.... black and white photographs, but also painting portraits on photos. I don't like abstract art in its entirety. I do not consider myself as a creator, but as a true figurative artist who paints what he sees.
