Discover the contemporary work of Jacqueline FERRON
Self-taught, since a very young age, Jacqueline Ferron has always been passionate about drawing and painting, which she has practiced alone or in workshops on the sidelines of her professional life as an IT project manager.
Mainly working in oil, in 2010 she discovered pastel during an exhibition at Feytiat, which was a revelation for her, graphics always being her favorite mode of expression. Since then, she has been passionate about this technique, which she has been able to perfect with very talented pastel painters.
She has exhibited in many international Pastel fairs in France and abroad and for 4 years at the Water and Drawing fair as part of Art Capital at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Jacqueline Ferron: Her subjects are very varied, treated in pastel but also in oil: portraits, nudes, landscapes, still lifes. In each painting while remaining in a figurative mode, emotion remains at the heart of her creation, an infinite and infinitely complex and exciting quest. Always inspired by subjects that touch her, characters from her current or past entourage, animals, landscapes often sketched on the spot then reworked in the studio, everyday objects and of course nudes that she contemplates each week with wonder in the studio of "living model"
