I was born in 1940 in Algeria and have been passionate about jazz for 70 years. These two reasons make my paintings evoke either North Africa (Algiers, Casbah, Sea, Sun, Desert...), or jazz musicians.
Artistic approach
A student of Jacques Burel and Sauveur Galiero, I cultivate a painting done with a knife in large flat areas and an expressionism with an abstract tendency. I have exhibited in the city where I live and work (Vallauris-Golfe Juan) and in the surrounding areas: Cannes, Antibes, Cagnes sur Mer, Nice, Grasse.
