Jade B. Rougerie- was born in a wonderful hilly region of plains, torrents and flowers, in St Léonard de Noblat in Limousin or -Poulidor-, Our "National Poupou" A cycling champion, family friends lived and spent time with her older brothers.

Then, very young, they all left for Nice where she studied, wanting to be an astrophysicist. However, she chose the Navy, like her father, a Tanker Commander, who also gave her the desire to discover the world, the oceans, and the seas.

After her studies in Nice and Antibes, she became an international model promoting French fashion for a few years, then decided to become a sailor, becoming a Radio Officer on rescue ships – wreck salvage and towing, for many years based in Africa and the Caribbean – traveling the seas and oceans, enjoying the sunsets, the spirit of the times, and the tropical islands.

In 2002, she returned "to land," knowing too little of her France, but "rich" From her years at sea, she discovered by chance that she could convey on canvas, wood, and mirrors her memories, her emotions, the color of the winds, the warm sands, the strength of the oceans, and above all, tropical flowers and winter suns through her fingertips and her hands... she paints!

And like Paul Cézanne, whom she admired and who said, "When color is at its richest, form is at its most complete."

Now known and recognized throughout the world, she exhibits her paintings in Paris – at the Grand Palais, the Louvre, in New York, Brussels, London...
