Born December 25, 1948 in Carcassonne (Aude). Self-taught painter, Francis Jalibert practice painting from an early age, despite some interruptions. In recent years, he devotes much more time to painting, which gives it more rewarding to the extent that it creates more interest. His paintings are in several private collections in France, but also abroad: United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Morocco etc… His painting: Mainly oil, sometimes with acrylic. Mainly with a knife, it expresses itself in a search for harmony in the color combination of the contrast. His accomplishments are meant spontaneous, often carried out in one meeting. There is a tendency to say that his paintings the most successful are those where he spent the least time. In the landscape theme, subject and the colors of his paintings show a strong inspiration Provençale; he affectionates region with the Languedoc Roussillon from where it originates. For the marines, he likes to translate sites on the Mediterranean coast, but also the Britain where the Basque coast.
