Self-taught artist, Jean-Pierre ALLANO was born; in 1957 in Normandy. The second son of four siblings, he felt, from a very young age, a deep connection with the world of creativity, guided by creativity. by a curiosity artistic and a keen sense of contemplative observation which would shape his life. 

A great nomad, he traveled many territories in France from the age of twenty, doing all kinds of jobs, settling in turn in different places. tour in the southern Alps, then in Provence, from Sisteron to Martigues, then Sète.

In Sète, while working as a projectionist in cinemas, he took free courses at the cinema. the School of Fine Arts. Then settling down to In Montpellier, he is developing a cinema tour with a large outdoor screen and 35mm film, combining remarkable sites and heritage films.

In his photographic wanderings, his other attraction, he tirelessly pursues his search for faces such as pareidolia, at a glance. know its astonishing "stone faces" that he unearths on the hiking trails all over Occitanie.

Today, Jean-Pierre ALLANO lives between Montpellier, Sète and Rouergue de l'Ouest Aveyron. He continues to explore new artistic frontiers, challenging norms to create a visual legacy that inspires and questions.

Through his art, he offers the world an invitation to contemplation and constant discovery.

The artistic universe of Jean-Pierre ALLANO is characterized by a daring fusion of abstract art and art brut. His visual creations transcend traditional boundaries, capturing raw emotions and mental landscapes in a unique way. through plays of shapes, shades all derived from the three primary colors and the constant search for what he smilingly calls the gray of chaos, in a nod to nature. one of his painter friends.
