Discover the contemporary work of Jensch
The subject matter of my paintings is predominantly representational. Landscapes, animals, still lifes, people and surreal depictions. I prefer to use large-format backgrounds with oil-egg tempera paints. I have been working with rolled lead since 1995, creating objects, reliefs and pictures in which the lead is incorporated. I make assemblages and wall objects from found objects, iron, clay and plaster. The motifs for my art arise from the immediate environment. They are events of silence, thoughtfulness and affection.
