JH la Chapeautée, whose real name is Jessy Hardy, is a Belgian illustrator, designer and artist who always wears a hat.

 

Born in Belgium on July 5, 1986 in the town of Verviers, a former wool town, in the Liège region.

 

From her earliest childhood, she has always loved music. the drawing. She grew up with comics, video games, cartoons and manga, which contributed to her popularity. to enrich the first steps of his imagination.

 

It’s only natural that’à As a teenager, she decided to follow Secondary and Professional Applied Arts studies at the University of Paris. the Institute of Ste Claire de Verviers in 2002.

 

During her seventh year at the same institution, she will have the chance to follow a student internship in comics and illustration with professional designer Lilo Greco.

This internship which took place at Herve between October 5 and December 7, 2005, allowed him to progress well in drawing, but above all and above all, to discover and develop the beginnings of his own style.

 

In 2006, she successfully completed her studies. Successfully completes qualifications. She obtained a certificate in Applied Arts.

 

In 2009 she decided to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts of Verviers to follow drawing courses for eight years, as well as three years of painting and sculpture courses.
