Introduction:Breton Artist with Irish origins born in Paris, Joelle Gicquel exhibited precious talent as an artist while in her youth but family pressures set her on the road of financial communication consulting for the first 15 years of her career.Coming back to her artistic roots in 1992, Joelle became a full time artist. Her principle media are oil paintings and mixed media photographic works. The mixed media photographic works are based on Joelle's oil paintings and form an important new expression of her ideas by disseminating the essence of her works while at the same time rebuilding them into new forms and formats.
