Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on September 20, 1954. Son of Aolberto Manrique de Lara Diaz and Dolores Millares Sall. Currently married to Lourdes Betes, Father of three children, Bethasabé, Moises, and Pablo.
He began his artistic career in 1980 with an exhibition of watercolors in the art gallery of the Cruz Mayor supermarket chain. From this moment his career begins.
He has held a total of approximately 150 exhibitions, both group and individual, and has exhibited in numerous Spanish capitals, as well as in some capitals of the world, namely Dallas, Tokyo, Rome, Bolognia, etc...
He has won international awards and belongs to various art groups.
His work is based on painting, both watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, etc. and in sculpture, both in wood carving and modeling.
