Discover the contemporary work of Julia Bartolini

I was born in 1985 into a family of artists. I have always drawn, tinkered, sewed …I naturally followed an artistic school and university path, interspersed with exhibitions and cultural events within associations and artists' collectives. In addition, I am a specialized educator. Two different environments, nevertheless complementary. 

I am originally from Charente, I completed my studies and part of my professional life in Bordeaux. Today I live and work in the Landes, in the heart of the woods.

For almost six years, I have devoted myself exclusively to my artistic practice. I made textile sculptures for a long time, but now I draw. I use colored pencils, a dry, smooth, pleasant to use, very simple material that allows me to create many details. I can add watercolor, acrylic paint or pastel.

What I like is the freedom that my artistic expression gives me and the fantasy in which it makes me exist.
