Charigny Juliette is a multidisciplinary artist although photography is one of the techniques she favors. Indeed, photography is a basis of work in his creative process. Drawing then becomes a stage of work. Thus, we can distinguish two processes, one poor in terms of technological means but rich in photochemical experience giving rise to cyanographies (cyanotype drawing on paper), the other which deepens photochemical experiments towards more figurative and realistic works.
Charigny juliette uses multiple creative techniques. The process Cyanotype is one of the photographic techniques they favor, because it represents a more eco-responsible alternative than silver printing. Simplicity The process allows us to explore multiple ways of reinventing the often floral aesthetic attributed to it. Thus, experimental photography influences his works both in their abstract dimension and in the photosensitive process of creation. She uses this process in various ways ranging from simple contact printing on paper or glass, to cyanography up to the composition of tiffany stained glass. Ébeing sensitive to the current climate crisis and practicing wildlife photography, his subjects are most often oriented towards the relationships that humans have towards or towards nature.
