The visual artist navigates between two worlds as her artist name suggests. Between figurative art and mysticism, “the daughter of the wind” creates for the living what ancestral souls whisper to her. 

Céline Porcher was born in 1967 in the Republic of Benin in West Africa. Nothing predestined her to become a visual artist in a country where; young girls work from morning to evening on household chores serving an entire community.

My works are the fruit (result) of a perfect alchemy between my body and a very noble nature. This technique metamorphoses in me and flows like an endless stream, full of color, in emotions very rich in life lessons. A fluid that allows me to express myself and create wise works. Any medium of mixed nature, living, silent, deep singing works. slates, wood, canvases, upholstery, fabrics and more. I juxtapose flat, round, undulating, aligned shapes e.g. Sometimes figurative ‘others very abstract in writing or in dotted, I have a very wide and varied choice of action to offer you a satisfactory choice.
