Laura Schoch is a German artist who uses her art to capture the meaning of the little things in everyday life. Art has accompanied Laura her entire life. As the daughter of an artist and art therapist, paint, brushes and canvas were never far away during her childhood. She returned to painting in search of self-expression and a deeper connection to life and to herself.
 

The idea of losing yourself in a picture, discovering something new every day - that is what defines her art. The creative process is characterized by reflection and sources of inspiration from life. "Things from everyday life that should be heard, felt or seen". The artist's work is also influenced by music and interpersonal connections.

Laura  uses soft acrylic layers alongside expressive, bold explosions of color. 
Opposites and contradictions blur and become visible on the acrylic canvas.
