Discover the contemporary work of Laurence Fauchart
Years of research in visual arts in various courses and workshops for adults, notably at the Musée Fabre in Montpellier and then at the Beaux Arts in Sète, helped me find and develop my own drawing/painting techniques in which plastic plays a major role.
In 2015-2016, I created a first series of watercolor paintings on recycled silky and synthetic fabrics, with prints of shapes dried under a press and under plastic film. In 2016, I focused my research on creating my works on transparent supports: tracing paper, glass, PVC plates for linocutting and recycled plastic from advertising poster supports.
Passionate painter, guided by an overflowing creativity, my art is a window open to the world. I use black and white enhanced with touches of color on transparent supports to create unique works. My work is the fruit of an artistic exploration, a journey, an invitation to dive into the imagination of a daily life filled with universal emotions. Each painting tells a story that I hope to share and that everyone can appropriate and reinvent."
