Lielie Sellier is a collage artist and author in Paris, she combines her two passions collage and writing by sometimes mixing them as in her collection Grain du Temps where each poem finds an echo in a poetic collage, delivering other emotions.

"Collage is above all an encounter with paper, its texture, its feel, its smell, the images, the visuals, the writings that they convey. It is an appropriation, starting from a detail to tell another story, to carry another message."

Lielie Sellier proceeds by associations of ideas, collecting according to her imagination images in magazines, books and other media, old postcards, elements gleaned during her walks: bird feathers, tree leaves. She takes live photographs of elements that interest her, a piece of fabric, flowers, a cat at her window and other subjects that she integrates into her collages. Photography fixes memories.
