Discover the contemporary work of Lily Stoneheart
Alyssia Roelandt, my stage name Lily Stoneheart, born in 1994 in the Paris region.
I have been passionate about photography since I was very young, it was from a very early age. When I was a teenager, I acquired my first digital camera. Interested in the cinematic world of horror films, I first began to study horror films. by finding my photographic style through this influence. Thus came my first explorations of abandoned places and my first trips to Europe in 2011.
My passion developed in such a way that projects and trips followed one after another. the search for any unusual, atypical place or place relating to any historical aspect.
Photography is for me an art that raises awareness among the most seasoned souls, which I enjoy. touch in a universe mixing utopia and melancholy.
Note that my photos are the result of each of my moods.
Hoping to touch your sensitivity, so that each of you can lose yourself in the invisible world that animates you.
I like working in the nude because in my opinion it represents purity, vulnerability and the entirety of nature ;&being human without trappings.
Its curves, its posture, its sensitivity, allow you to communicate without speaking.
All my photographs are self-portraits because I like to send back to the interlocutors the emotions felt in each of these creations while having the ability to explain them in complete honesty. p>
We live in a world with a fragile heritage, a surrealist past with an uncertain future; tangled in the unknown, each of us tries to build our life on these winding, and sometimes endless, roads.
This fragile world, governed by fear and apocalypse in which we have no right to make mistakes, in which we sometimes lose our feet, but so beautiful at the same time.
What if today we got lost in this invisible world that animates us?
