Biography of Lisa Dora Fardelli
Lisa Dora Fardelli is a passionate artist, born on July 30, 1981 in Algajola, Corsica, and since the age of six, she has lived in Toulon, where she developed her love for art and creativity. From her early years of secondary school, she turned to the visual arts, starting training as a painter in letters in Hergos. Her career then led her to take the entrance exam for the Fine Arts of Toulon as a free candidate, where she discovers a rich and diverse world of artistic expression.
After obtaining her DNAP diploma in 2006, then her DNSEP in 2009, Lisa launched herself into the professional world with an overflowing passion for art and culture. From 2007 to 2023, she was president of the Késako association, where she led visual arts workshops, thus highlighting her desire to share her passion for the arts and contribute to the preservation of artistic traditions and the environment.
Wishing to continue to promote contemporary arts in her region, Lisa created the association Au Cœur des Arts, an eco-artistic reception center that quickly became a driving force for cultural dynamism in the Var. As a cultural mediator and cultural and artistic development agent within these structures, she is fully committed to promoting visual arts and cinematographic creation, while encouraging exchanges between the public and artists at through creative workshops and cultural events.
In 2011, Lisa successfully launched the international short film festival "Cinéma en Liberté", which quickly became an unmissable event for film lovers in the region. Over the years, this event has established its reputation and its place in the local cultural landscape, attracting a diverse audience passionate about the seventh art. During her years as the festival's artistic director, Lisa acquired new skills in event management, public relations and partnership development, thus strengthening her expertise in the field of cultural organization.
In addition to her associative commitment, Lisa, driven by a constant desire for exploration and innovation, embarked in 2016 on a new project with her sister Davia: the hybrid space "Les Frangines". This gallery workshop/boutique quickly became an essential place for art lovers, where Lisa could not only develop her own artistic work, but also exhibit that of other emerging and renowned artists. Unfortunately, since November, the Les Frangines gallery has been closed, which allows Lisa to devote herself fully to developing projects, particularly within the TPM Higher School of Art.
For 6 years, Lisa has been part of the TPM Higher School of Art team as an artistic teaching assistant. She runs painting and drawing workshops for an amateur audience, sharing her know-how and passion with future generations of artists.
Today, Lisa continues her artistic commitment with enthusiasm, exploring new creative avenues and sharing her expertise with her community. Her inspiring artistic vision, combined with her skills in organization and artistic education, make her a dynamic woman anchored in the artistic landscape of the Toulon region.
Through my watercolors and inks, I weave a visual universe where femininity is expressed in all its strength and delicacy. My work is structured around series of drawings, small compositions, embodying growth and renewal, like a young shoot that flourishes under the benevolent gaze of the world.
My feminine faces, with features highlighted in black, seem carried by the light breath of the wind, while the colors escape and dance freely on the surface of the paper. Each brushstroke translates a movement, an emotion, a story. Vibrant watercolors flow like living water, embodying both fragility and resilience, in perfect resonance with feminine complexity. Color plays a central role, evoking life, passion, dreams that unfold, while black ink imposes the framework of a tangible reality, sometimes soft, sometimes harsher, but always imbued with a desire to create, to live, to express oneself fully. With these works, I aspire to capture the essence of feminine energy in all its plurality. — gentleness, strength, creativity, fertility of ideas, while inviting reflection on the role of women in nature and society. This organic, almost fusional link between women and their environment is at the heart of my work. Each face, each flower, each color evokes a facet of human nature, of feminine nature, in a perpetual quest for beauty and freedom.
My art is an invitation to reclaim one's inner space, to recognize the richness of diversity, both in the way of thinking and in the way of living. Each drawing is an echo of this desire for freedom, of the idea that creativity has neither limits nor constraints, and that life itself is an art to be reinvented, constantly.
