Originally from a region with an industrial past, I grew up between fields and abandoned factories. A certain inclination for laborious work and artisanal know-how permeates my practice. I work from various myths and rituals to develop a syncretic and anachronistic universe. Thus, questions of heritage and gestures run through my projects in a dreamlike lexicon: a rustling of poplar leaves that is revealed when it is interrupted, lacework of paper cut with a scalpel, human teeth suspended by dental floss, a greenhouse where suffocate the plants of mourning...
It is in the cohabitation and dialogue of diverse customs, observed throughout the world, that my artistic research unfolds.
