Trained at the School of Plastic Arts in Sartrouville (78), then in the workshops of N’Guyen Cam and Françoise Bernard in Maisons-Laffitte (78), then in the profession of gallery owner, before creating and managing an Art gallery in Paris for 10 years. She exhibits in France and abroad, and has won numerous prizes and awards.
Through a sober and powerful painting that escapes into a universe of acidulous colors, Lydie Allaire wishes to offer a new perspective on Nature: to admire it as a work of Art, to contemplate trees as sculptures and skies as spectacles.
Her inspirations are multiple: a moment, a memory, a book, a piece of music, as well as her dual Culture, Polish and Breton. Constantly in search of new materials, she wishes to show the result of her research on light and movement, in compositions with atmospheres that combine power and poetry. The detail is banished to go to the essential, and leave to each one the desire to lose oneself in all freedom.
