Discover the contemporary work of magda moraczewska
Polish, I arrived in France in 1982. I studied painting, drawing and engraving at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, art history at the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne. My career also includes training with engraver artists and photographers, or designers, writing workshops and the encounter with Butoh. I continuously exhibit engraving, collage or drawing works, individually and collectively. I pass on my skills through classes and workshops. I run a traveling engraving workshop - the Ateliers Migrateurs, which travels all over France.
My work often uses chance and found objects. Inspired by dream worlds, reality and imagination, collective and personal memories, I create fragments of worlds to be completed by dialoguing with the viewer and their own memories.
