Discover the contemporary work of Marangio

Art for me is obvious... I like to transmit an emotion through a creation, whether it is a painting or a piece of art. oil on canvas, a drawing, a sculpture, anything that comes out of the imagination.

Without necessarily having a model, the abstract is an art... I had an exhibition from November 16, 2017 to November 26, 2017 at Brusc (Six fours les plage) in Paris. Espace Jules Greling  where I presented my biography in abstract. It's at say that Every stage of my life I need to paint, it becomes essential.

Native of La Seyne sur mer on June 4, 1980, I have always been attracted to Art, drawing, painting, sculpture. Artistic expression fascinates me and captivates me emotionally, I need to paint, to express myself manually and artistically, with all methods of expression.

I always had very good results with my teachers, but I was not able to break into this path because the studies were too expensive ... so I have no training but I have been taking painting classes in random ways since September 2012.

I started first thanks to Christine Collin, who works at the University of California. the Agora association at Sanary sur mer and whom I met by chance at the veterinarian. It was she who advised me to to take lessons.

Indeed I had realized a painting that I started Alone with my desire to create a family, it was in 2008. I made a work called “Ovulation” and I was alone with my desire to create a family. my very first painting made on a crazy moment in 2008 because I wanted to give birth and I had a bad feeling. Needing to express my anxiety so I made circles representing eggs and a triangle crossing the canvas.

It was for me a way of leaving a trace of this fear which invaded me.

I had my treasure in 2010, everything went well, but the fear did not come from there.

In 2013 I experienced the worst year of my life, I know for sure. present what it means to change everything from one day to another. the other. After this drama in my life which is the loss of a loved one, loss of family, and immersion in painting.

I was only doing painting to clear my head and I had an exhibition of my Spiderman for my son, his first figurative painting, in Paris. the Saint Nazaire space in Sanary sur mer.

The lessons intensified and I started to study. à working with Virginie Bomans, a great artist full of imagination whom I knew from my childhood. at the age of 16 at Lycée Beaussier.

His help in my personal artistic development through painting me; is essential today.
