I come from the Books and Graphic Arts professions - La Rue Madame in the 6th arrondissement Parisian district and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Toulouse (cultural communication).
Native of the African continent on the banks of the lagoon, I find that the night is fascinating because the light and the perception of a landscape often transport us elsewhere. Despite everything, the expression "the dawn of time" is pessimistic for me. It should be replaced by "the day of time" because the conception of time cannot be compared to that of time. at night.
Sleep is for me a refuge from fatigue, from pain, from regrets. The image of the image. Have the mind, the will, the imagination, dream in the open air. Taste simple pleasures, chase away doubts and mists. Go back and follow your path without remorse. Should we then have a waking dream...
Through my work, I try to show the generosity of others. of a landscape, the complexity to bring transparency to unexpected details and to take the viewer on a journey through my country-landscapes. Since my childhood, painting and drawing have been an integral part of my life. Color has always been important. for me, a source of inspiration. The resulting material is a more or less heterogeneous mixture depending on the effect I want to obtain.
My universe is not limited to; the colour. It spills over into what I call human sensitivity. human to to be able to move those who look at my painting. I hope that we will find a score of colored notes placed at the right place. precise places to vibrate and transport there where imagination resides. Color is a fascinating field: Pick the present day and be least confident in the future. Morning ritual or evening prayer; pick the madness of men, tear the ivory tower, censor divine words, rigorously sort the damned souls, choose the sweet rose of a sour candy, taste it te in the short period of time, take advantage in this uncertain future whereù everything is brought to you à disappear.
Colors, materials, tondo, series...
My photographic or pictorial work does not represent anything other than life. In painting, you have to leave blanks or breaths at the same time. inside the composition formed by traces, stains, to invite the viewer to explore dive into my colorful harmonies. For us Europeans, the notion of landscape only arrives at the time of the Renaissance. In some civilizations, there is no word for landscape. For the Chinese, the traditional term is " the mountains and the waters... Poetic, no? For the geographer Augustin Berque: “the landscape is only the mirror of the soul. This is neither a dream nor a hallucination. What he evokes may be imaginary. I therefore suggest to you, noble people, that you dream with your eyes open because life is only a dream.
