I went through several stages of experimentation to end up with a series on women, particularly their pelvis. 

After sculpting in clay, I made latex molds and cast plaster, including materials found during my explorations.

I am interested in the shapes and singularities of the woman's body. The solid material plaster represents stability, while the inclusions of materials create unpredictable events (rust, mold, cracks). These phenomena are beyond my control. They symbolize our wounds, scars... these traces tell our story and our resilience.
