I was not predestined to be become an artist. I followed a course which led me to working in the social field, child protection for more than 30 years.
I had a taste for drawing when I was a child and teenager, rather attracted to drawing with charcoal or pencil. Indian ink.
The paths of life sometimes take us away from the paths of artistic creation, but seeds bloom and just ask for new ideas. germinate. My "germination surge" was made to 50 years.
I am a self-taught artist.
I discovered the art of the mandala in the Buddhist tradition. at the same time as the desire to pick up brushes and pencils was felt fiercely. It didn't take me long to go to the hotel. meeting him in my personal research but also through through artists practicing the art of the mandala (Mustapha RAYTH, Philippe MARIAUD, Sandrine Syama BATAILLARD, Catherine HALLIER among others), each person's entry point being different.
I created my own artistic practice of the mandala.
More broadly, I am sensitive to the impressionist movement, the pastellist movement, the surrealists, modern art and female painters (Frida Kahlo, Nicky de Saint PHALLE, Camille CLAUDEL, Tamara de LEMPICKA…) .
Depending on my mood at the moment, I don't use the same medium: acrylic, watercolor, ink, pastels.... Nor the same supports: canvas, paper, wood, glass, slate…
I dived deep inside me protected by this circle of the mandala, and I visited unknown lands from which I have always returned amazed without being entirely new. does the same.
12 years later, I dare to be an artist at home. entirely part. I chose to develop my art around the mandala nourished by my commitment and my spiritual practices to disseminate its benefits and invite the traveler of art to explore. dive into his turn in his own journey.
