Discover the contemporary work of Marine Walon

I specialize in both in painting and figurative drawing. This passion developed during my stay in Argentina (
2010 to 2016), whereù I registered for numerous courses and workshops, and where I followed the training in Visual Arts at University National d’Art (UNA).

My drawings are often the prelude to something new. a painting. I find my inspiration in; through my encounters, my travels, and my life experiences. Some paintings have a direct link with moments that I go through, but without it being too explicit, so that everyone can identify.

The figurative compositions are characterized by their well-defined lines, in contrast with a more impressionistic background. I tend towards a simplification of forms. I explore and develop my own aesthetic and I create my universe.

My work focuses on the representation of the human figure, mainly women. I am attached to emotion by exploring tenderness, serenity, tranquility. I try to communicate something positive and harmonious.
