it took me a long time to approach the portrait, I was looking for how to approach it; through photography, approach the material of painting, the painter's touch and improbable color palettes, but also work on the theatricalization of the subject, and its transfiguration.
My images are the result of a fairly intuitive and experimental creative process. I don't plan them. I imagine the device with which I will work, the type of translucent screen with To use, I gather accessories, prepare my palette (powders, pigments, paint, inks, etc.). Afterwards the images are built in collaboration with the model and experimentation.
The effects are actually created at the time of shooting: In this series, the model is behind a branded plexiglass. to which I add paint, water splashes, powder pigments, a few water splashes to introduce chance. The compositions emerge from a purely visual exploration, I react to it. what I see outside through the camera in a very instinctive way, and when I see an image that speaks to me, I capture it.
