Discover the contemporary work of Mary Jiménez

Mary Jiménez plastic artist, illustrator and educator. Born in Venezuela near the Caribbean Sea, since she was little, her ability and skill in the arts was noted. It was formed at the Cristóbal Rojas school of fine arts in Caracas. He ventured in other areas such as theater, dance... he participated from an early age in painting competitions and exhibitions... Obtaining some awards that made him defined by painting. He shared her art with motherhood as a mother of three daughters, an experience that without leaving art, made her venture into utilitarian art. He currently lives in Gran Canaria, Spain. Making known his art in another hemisphere of the planet.

The artistic work has developed from the investigation of personal image, venturing into different painting procedures, inventing his own technique with a versatile style that does not stay still, always changing, creating something new and breaking with itself. The idea he wants to convey in his work has to do with the meaning of life, the message of his work aims to  generate a deep bond to awaken the soul.
