Discover the contemporary work of Maxime Cohen

Born in 1997 in the Paris region, I studied the architectural decor, the fresco and the mosaic in front of it. ENSAAMA (Paris), then finished my studies at the Beaux Arts de Bourges in 2023. I exhibit works and create decorations alone or with the Bel Horizon association of which I am co-founder for many years now.

Highlight the processes of distortion of the environment and our perceptions, the transition from the conscious state to the conscious. unconscious, the weight of sleep that envelops us. The substance of what we touch, the thoughts that intertwine with the dream/nightmare, an abrupt memory that takes us back to the past. the surface before diving again... so many very intimate phenomena and yet well shared by all. It is an extraordinary moment of change in what it offers as an ontological experience, as if the real and the imaginary had, every night, a few moments of meeting, like two inmates who wait for the inattention of the prisoner to come together. a guardian to exchange objects, smells, shapes, faces, memories...
