I was born in Barcelona's Eixample. My father spent some time almost every day painting since he was a fabric manufacturer and liked to design his own prints. He enjoyed teaching me how to paint when he discovered that he had inherited his love for drawing and painting. I lived also close to my uncle Antonio who was a wonderful painter. I liked to draw and paint more than anything else and since I was little at school I sat far away from the teachers because always, Whoever listened, he drew. For a long time I alternated My job at the City Hall with painting, I had to deliver quite a few works throughout the year and sometimes it was very stressful. Nowadays I have managed to work on what I had always wanted.

Marta Carol's work has great strength, nature, the female figure,... the line, the drawing and the color form a set of strength, with a clear sensitivity and sensuality. The artist has a passion for beauty which she puts before the rigidity of other symptoms typical of reading art. Her latest works are a delicious explosion of female faces and figures as sensual as they are subtle and as confident as they are gentle. We can notice how the artist's force stains the canvas and in it we see strokes that may seem simple but have a disturbing force.

The paintings are very beautiful; beautiful selection of colors, they exude a lot of life, a lot of light, daring combinations of beautiful colors. A very sensual touch too. Fantastic to see that MCarol is herself, she expresses her emotions wisely with the brush and also in her designs and photographs. Your work is full of joy.
