Born in 1976, growing up in the heart of the Camargue, graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier (DNSEP) in 2001 after a DEUG in art history, I have been living in the Nice region since 2010. I have had the chance to exhibit in many galleries in France, that of the arenas of Nîmes, in Le Havre (Pascal Fremont gallery), in Paris (Séverin Maly gallery), in Cliousclat (l’Oeil soleil gallery), in Saint Paul de Vence (Frédéric Gollong gallery), in Bourges (Entre-Temps gallery), in Gorbio, Beaulieu sur Mer …. But also to realize two beautiful exhibitions abroad, in Andalusia in Jerez de la Frontera at the Andalusian Center of Flamenco in 2007 and in Belgium in Mouscron at the Museum of Fine Arts in 2015.
A few words about my painting:
What I want to throw on the canvas is this load of generosity, truth, depth in the excess that I experience through flamenco, bullfighting and the South in general. It is this truth of emotions that gives me the strength, the rage but also the tenderness to give everything on the canvas, to be true to create a real exchange filled with sincerity. with the public.
The characters in my paintings are certainly not portraits but emotions dripping with color, which cry out tenderness through a load of the brush, a gesture that makes a figure much more than the images represented, sunburned faces, drunk with colorful emotions, which sweat flamenco in the arena of life, which are present only through their emotions that they give to share with the public through painting for a freedom to be moved and the desire for the risk of spontaneous emotion.
Here is why painting represents a necessity for me, because keeping all these emotions to myself is impossible .... also finding my pleasure in this exchange with you.
