Discover the contemporary work of Mika Conception
After a master's degree in visual arts at Paris and computer graphics training at Issoudun, I moved to Tarn in 1999.
From 2002, in partnership with associations, schools, communities, I design and produce with residents - schools (from kindergarten to high school), volunteers, seniors, families ; … - artistic creations for public space - carnival floats, event installations, frescoes, street art, plant sculptures
In 2004, I created my status as an artist and am one of the founders of the Volubilo association, which aims « art in within reach » in order to develop collective artistic actions.

I define myself as an image maker. My artistic research explores the expressive potential or plastic of the insignificant or little considered. She focuses on abandoned objects, outdated concepts, everyday details, or dried out nature.
My practice enjoys, gleans, returns, diverts, superimposes, dissociates, associates, braids... funds, shapes, materials and symbols. My production likes to get closer to so-called “distant” audiences; thus I develop, in partnership with structures, participatory artistic creations, through workshops adapted to different audiences.
I like Art Nouveau, raw, expressionist, wild, modest, urban... the meaning, the color, the contrast, the beauty of of the gesture, the expression of the manner, the unexpected...
My thing: observe, project myself, do and do-do
I master the ballpoint pen, the blanco, the immersion and the imperfection, but above all I look for the line of the gesture, the other point of view, the plan A, the system D, the ingenuity ;, simplicity realistic, tender impertinence.
