Born in 1983 in Angers, Myriam Le Corre, aka Myrima, is a visual artist and art teacher in Morbihan. She first studied applied arts before moving on to Fine Arts. Her work focuses on the visual arts and draws particularly on the practice of drawing.

Through her works, Myriam Le Corre imagines a strange and dreamlike universe in which the unusual is omnipresent. Strange creatures emanate from a lush nature, as magnificent as it is disturbing. The plant and animal world seems to free itself from human influence.

Nature occupies a central place in the artist's creative process, sensitive to ecological concerns. The artist raises a paradox about the relationship that Man maintains with the living, shared between the contemplation of earthly splendors and the unbridled exploitation of natural resources.
