Self-taught Visual Artist / Batna

Bachelor of mathematics from the University of Algiers, secondary school teacher in Batna. M.N.Bensaid is a self-taught painter and sculptor, from a family of artists, did not know painting or rather did not practice it until after his twenties, after a great maturity artistic and philosophical.

*He made his debut in pictorial activity in 1986.

*Very active in the cultural sector in the Wilaya.

*He was an advisor to the Auresian Foundation of Arts and Cultures (FASAC), continually fighting to promote art and the artist within society and with the authorities.

*He also created in 2000 with a group of artists the PRISMA association of which he is currently president.

*Founding member of the cultural and artistic club of the city of Batna.

*From 1993 to the present day he exhibits in a collective with artists from the city of Batna.

*1998 at the Palais de la Culture in Annaba.

*2001 in Tlemcen...

*2002 in Oran

* 2006 1st national sculpture exhibition in Batna

* 2007 2nd national sculpture exhibition in Batna

* 2008 National sculpture exhibition in Algiers as part of “Algiers, capital of Arab culture”.

*Participated in the various exhibitions organized by the UNAC (National Union of Cultural Arts) throughout the national territory.

*As part of the Algerian year in France, he participated in an exhibition in Nice bringing together artists from Batna with the émigré artist Karim Meziani.

*Was curator of the 1st national sculpture exhibition  organized by PRISMA in Batna in 2006.

*Created with the artist Med Krim the quality logo for the benefit of the SCIMAT of Ain-Touta/W/Bantna.

*In 2003, in the very center of Algiers opposite the main post office, working on site and in direct contact with the public for a month, he created a 17 m long wooden sculpture “The dolphin”.
