ARTISTIC APPROACH JULIE BOTTON.The Empire of Colors!
My primary inspirations are nature and its living elements, we find these influences in the paintings of the Middle East. I try to capture the vastness and the notion of infinity in form and space, in contrasting and warm tones. I also evolve in a so-called "cold" range of colors, such as emerald green, petroleum or cobalt blue, titanium white, including Chinese red, which warms up and brings a radiance, easily ;on unexpected, in an abstract landscape, suggest or imaginary, populated animals, mostly the birds!
My painting always questions the balance between light and the depth of masses, colors, emptiness or fullness.
The inspiration for the palette of my latest paintings comes from “The Madonna and Child”, from the 16th century by Master Raphael. themes such as wisdom, resurrection, knowledge, spirit, secret, ego or disappearance with subjects representing birds, fish and the animal kingdom in its esoteric and spiritual symbolism.
