Olaf Baier, industrial businessman, snack vendor, taxi driver, factory and warehouse worker, dementia care assistant, employee in psychiatry. 40 years of psychiatric experience as a sufferer, biography full of loss and pain, like a holey stocking. And that is also wonderful, that creates depth.

About the project:

You can expect soulful images and essential texts from 40 years of concentrated psychiatric experience. The art project "Psychiatry Art" was created 7 years ago to take the topic of mental illness out of the dirty corner in pictures and writing and to make it accessible to a wider public. Excursions into mysticism and spiritual approaches created a completely new way of looking at the topic. Let yourself be inspired and perhaps even confused by this "outsider art".

We will work with wax crayons, Edding3000, pencil and English charcoal.
