Of Norman origin, this colorist artist paints in the Provençal vein. For the 50 years since he settled in Provence, he has immersed himself in the region and its natural resonances. Patrick Lemière defines himself as a painter from the Mediterranean rim in a post-impressionist style ..... he takes you through his paintings to these southern regions bathed in sunshine.

To give direct expression to visionary conceptions; to coordinate forms and colors in a homogeneous harmony, such is my artistic approach.
