“I PAIN FROM THE SCRATCHES”
The work is paradoxical. In its future it appears and disappears between figures and abstractions, in a nebulous, musical and mysterious mixture. Almost an idea.
"From 1994 to 2006, Oscar Padrevecchi consolidated his vision of the world by painting stripes of various shapes. Figuration at its most abstract. Figurations that appear melodic and rhythmic. Hence his 'Stripes and motifs'.
The stripes create motifs as they become stripes...
That is why the works participate, dialogue, try to be spectators of the spectator, observer observed.
The work does not end, with each observer it is reconstructed in a different way in this “walking” what is being done, what is being “ without wanting to end with “being”, because life is a walk and a constant change.
The work is not even unfinished. The work is not finished....
