I am Paola, my real name is Pascale Galaud, and I have been living in Corrèze since 2005.
Originally from Brittany, I was lucky enough to grow up by the sea, in this region, full of history and
magical places. The seascapes allow you to escape and marvel at the of the change of
colors depending on the time of day and the seasons.
Artistic activities have had an important place in my life from a very young age:
The theater in particular was my first passion, I dreamed of being an actress!
My paternal great-grandfather, Charles Gutknecht, was a painter, made engravings and practiced la
photography. The artistic spirit must flow in our veins!
I started painting in 2018, as an autodidact. After learning figurative painting, I
was quickly attracted to the abstract style which is for me an infinite universe of possibilities to develop
my creativity.
I use acrylic paint and explore the world of abstraction that allows to develop a limitless imagination.
I create color harmonies and make brushes and knives dance.
On the canvas, lines and movements release energy and luminous vibrations.
Shapes, colors and material form a whole.
My intention is to immerse the viewer's eye in a journey to the heart of the imaginary.
The canvas is a colorful window open to the world.
