Papakaz multidisciplinary artist born in 1978 in Nice, France, of Ivorian origin, paints and draws since early childhood, having participated in multiple exhibitions and artistic events in France, stands out as an innovative figure in the world of contemporary art, his unique style is a vibrant fusion of African primitive arts, street art and pop culture of the 80s growing up in France papakaz was influenced by French culture while being deeply rooted in his Ivorian roots, this duality is reflected in his work where he integrates traditional symbols with modern street art codes and techniques.
Papakaz's works are distinguished by the bold use of colors and geometric shapes often inspired by masks and shapes of African sculptures, he uses graffiti techniques to add a dynamic and contemporary thus creating a bridge between the past and the present
