"XXIth century will be spiritual or will not be " said André Malraux. Art has to reflect this tendency. The spirituality can express itself by any means. I think painting is one. I would have been able to choose any theme, I would have been able to opt for the abstraction, but I feel good only in the representation. I would have been able to paint landscapes, portraits. Ganesh imposed upon me as a love at first sight, as symbol of the divine dimension which lives in every Human being. Born in 1954 in Toulon-France, I pursued studies of economics then moved on with the School of Fine Arts of Toulon. My style recovers from the free representation but also from the narrative representation. My theme of preference is the god Ganesh. We can thus say that my painting is religious. It returns grace, it honors, it questions. I use acrylic but also other materials: ink, tissue papers, gold leaves on paper or canvas.
