It was through drawing, then through sculpture, that my aspirations and my torments first sought their way. And then painting imposed itself. It was in the burst of colors that it allowed me to give free rein to the flow of what passes through me, so much joy, so much doubt and fear in the face of a world that is being lost. "I" do not paint, it is my brush that rests on the canvas and orders this chaos. Over the years, my paintings have tended to be tinged with the excesses of a climate that frightens me. I do not set limits, I give free rein to my hand. She guides me, places her colors that mix in a devilish embrace, she shapes the curves that cross, intermingle, explode, burst forth and light up the canvas.
